Hi Alan. I used to hear you sing "My Redeemer" all the time on WAWZ 99.1 FM in Zarepath, New Jersey. I asked them to send me a copy, which they did. I listened to it over and over until I had it memorized and sang it whenever I got the chance. I recently wrote the melody line down by trying it out on the piano. I will be singing it for my church during the service as special music. My husband is a composer of christian music also. He has composed about 19 songs, some do not have words set to the music yet. Some are rearrangements, (different music to old hymns), "Amazing Grace" is in that group. Some are all his, words and music. Of course he gives God the credit for giving him the talent and ability also. Plus I believe he was a good sudent in music. He set " My Redeemer " into readable / playable meter, so my Pastor's wife /also organist can play it while I sing it this coming Sunday, March 1 st., 2009. My husband is also my singing instructor, (he says I need to take deeper breaths in order to project my singing and to be heard better. We were married Jan. 1972 (37 yrs. now) and I'm blessed to have him as my husband. I hope to be able to buy a copy of "The Believer's Hymnbook' soon as money is tight right now. I hope to be able to get to Maryland to see you at The New Hampshire Gospel Center there. I pray for God's guidance for you in all you do and everywhere you go, and that he will keep you safe in his will and in growing holiness and purity and land you safely in his presence on the other side when this life is over.
